For over a decade, I crafted visual narratives for luxury brands in Paris, Milan, New York, mainland China, and Hong Kong. Along the way, I had the privilege of photographing top-tier artists and cultural figures—including Jacky Cheung, Eason Chan, Simon Yam, Miriam Yeung, Wang Luodan, and Jiang Lili—whose portraits appeared in influential fashion and lifestyle publications such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, ELLE, and GQ.

That experience taught me this: there are no ordinary people in front of the camera—only expressions not yet taken seriously.

Then I moved to New York.

I discovered a dilemma that Chinese families here face: the style from studios back home is too garish, and local white photographers don't understand the "sophistication" we're after. So I brought the standards of fashion advertising into family photography—the same lighting, the same post-production, the same exacting aesthetic—now applied to photographing your children, your family, and your personal branding portraits.

Today, my private studio in New York is where high fashion collides with real family life. I bring the lighting logic of Vogue campaigns to the moment your child runs through the park. I translate the lighting setups of luxury perfume ads onto your living room family portraits and your personal branding sessions. The final result is more than a photograph. It is a family heirloom—technically precise enough to hang in a gallery, yet emotionally loaded enough to bring tears to your eyes.

I work with a limited number of families every year and only accept clients who resonate with this approach.

后来我来到纽约。

我发现纽约华人家庭面临一个尴尬：国内影楼风格太土，本地白人摄影师不懂我们要的“高级”。我把拍时尚广告的那套标准带到了家庭摄影——同样的光线，同样的后期，同样的严苛审美，现在用来拍你的孩子、家庭，以及个人形象照。

如今，我在纽约的私人工作室，是高级时装与真实家庭生活混沌相遇的地方。我把 Vogue 广告级的光线逻辑，带到你家孩子跑过公园的瞬间；把奢侈香水广告的布光方式，用在你家客厅的全家福上，以及个人形象照上。最终呈现的，不止是一张照片。它是一件家族传家宝——技术精度足以挂进画廊，情感浓度却足以让人落泪。

每年我服务有限数量的家庭，只接待认可这种拍摄方式的客人。
